Refined Sugar Free?!

Whether you do or not, we want to share our love of eating refined sugar free! If one of your goals is to start decreasing your sugar intake…#JJK has got you covered!

ALL of our treats and ingredients are refined sugar free (yes that includes our dried fruit AND chocolate)!🍫

So, what does this mean? Refined sugar is any ‘highly processed’ sugars, such as table sugar & high fructose corn syrup, which are seen as ‘empty calories’ offering no nutritional benefit.

Refined sugar has been shown to have significant negative impacts on your brain and overall health (including increasing obesity and affecting cognitive function and memory).

Instead of these sugars we use small amounts of natural sugars such as maple syrup and coconut sugar. This still gives you that little bit of sweetness, but are also filled with vitamins and minerals! YES!

Some sugars are a 1:1 substitute, so it’s an easy switch over! Let us know if you need any help with substitutions!
